Our Story

Born From a Desire to Do Care Differently

For years, our founders worked in hospitals and saw the same pattern: people with serious medical needs were discharged to settings that weren’t equipped to support them — or families were left trying to manage ventilators and complex care alone.

Serenity was created to bridge that gap with a home that is calm, prepared, and clinically strong. We’re proud to be the first in the county licensed for ventilator-assisted care — built specifically for residents who require a higher level of readiness in an adult foster home setting.

Here, residents are known by name, routines, and preferences — not by a room number. Families receive clear communication, steady support, and the comfort of knowing someone is truly watching over their loved one.

Our Care Philosophy

Clinical Excellence With a Gentle, Human Touch

  • Dignity: We honor each resident’s story, choices, and comfort.
  • Safety: Ongoing monitoring, careful documentation, and rapid response to change.
  • Serenity: A calm, organized environment that supports rest and stability.
  • Collaboration: Partnership with families, physicians, respiratory therapists, and care teams.
  • Compassion: We care for residents as we would our own family members.
